With over 20 years of experience in the field of Architecture and construction, Hans’ approach to design is grounded in constructability while meeting client’s programmatic needs through thoughtful use of materials and details. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science from the Metropolitan State University, Denver and his Masters of Architecture from the University of Colorado, Denver. Outside of the studio Hans is an avid cyclist, snowboarder and Dad joke connoisseur.

Joana has been practicing Architecture for over 20 years. During this formative time, her approach to design has been shaped by the working relationships developed with clients and colleagues, as well as the diverse range of project types she has been fortunate to work on. Joana holds a Bachelors degree in Art and Art History (with an emphasis in Business and Economics) as well as a Masters of Architecture from the University of Colorado, Denver. In addition to her formal education, she has spent significant time abroad, studying the business and practice of architecture while also teaching English to young students. When she’s not in the studio, Joana loves to be immersed in nature with her two young daughters.

Jillian Pate is an architect with a rich experience in the creative arts. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Denver, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver. Her design sensibility in all projects large and small, strives for a sense of continuity, connectivity, and an expression of materiality. She brings experience in high-end residential, K-12 and higher education, and hospitality projects including both new construction and renovations. In addition to her architectural work, Jillian is a professional steel sculptor, and active practitioner of Muay Thai and an avid world traveler.

Kelsey is a licensed architect with over 8 years of professional experience working with a broad range of project types from boutique restaurants and civic centers to K-12, higher education projects, and more. She was born and raised in Colorado and draws inspiration from the local landscape as well as her travels and experiences all around the world. Kelsey is passionate about client relationships and communication, and strives to find creative solutions that fit within any spatial & budgetary limits. She holds a Masters of Architecture degree from Kansas State University with a minor in Leadership Studies. In her free time, she loves to take on DIY home renovations and go on backpacking trips with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
Kelsey Madden

Diego has a passion for crafting spaces that blends contemporary forms, materials, and forward-thinking concepts. With a keen eye for boundary-pushing solutions, his work redefines traditional design, integrating high-end aesthetics, digital craftsmanship, and innovative spatial experiences. His expertise spans residential, commercial, and interior design, with a particular interest to functional art. Originally from Chile, Diego earned his architectural license in South America and is currently pursuing licensure in the U.S. His dedication to design excellence has been recognized internationally, including winning twice an esteemed Latin American architecture competition during his studies. Beyond architecture, Diego explores painting, drawing, product design, and entrepreneurship, constantly seeking ways to merge functionality with artistic expression. Whether through furniture, digital fabrication, or new design methodologies, he is driven by the challenge of turning bold ideas into reality.

Tom started with a background in construction and a desire for creating thoughtful and high-quality spaces. Envisioning a design process with a focus on balancing innovation, functionality and beauty. After earning his degree in Construction Management form Purdue University, he would later pursue a Master of Architecture from the University of Houston. Re-defining his creative design approach while gaining a broader understanding of urban and environmental factors through studies in France and Brazil. His expertise spans a wide range of projects, but his passion lies in creating distinctive high-quality spaces that can meet environmental, aesthetic and practical needs. Originally from Philadelphia, Tom draws on inspiration from both traditional and modern architectural influences. Outside of work, he enjoys the great Colorado outdoors, traveling, sketching and working on his car collection.
